Congratulations to PlanIt North team member Michael for his successful completion of Simon Fraser University’s Community Economic Development Certificate program. The program took place over the past eight months and included two weeks of intensive course work at Simon Fraser University. Michael was exposed to new tools and topics by experienced CED practitioners and is now part of a network of professionals working on projects in small communities in British Columbia, Alberta, and Alaska. Michael is looking forward to applying his learning in service of communities across the NWT!
